NewTech’s new generation ‘i-walk’ 200 series is launched this April

This April, ‘i-walk’ 200 series is launched as a new solution for those who are suffering from foot drop indications. Foot drop is normally caused by upper motor neuron injury or disease, such as: stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and incomplete spinal cord injury, which means that sufferers cannot walk normally just like others. But with the help of ‘i-walk’ 200, regaining freedom will not be a dream for them any more.

What is ‘i-walk’ 200 series?

The ‘i-walk’ 200 series is a Foot Drop Rehab System, which utilizes Tilt Sensor Technology and Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) to analyze the movement of the leg and stimulate the appropriate nerves, helping the foot to lift every step. The low level electrical impulses produced by i-walk activate the muscles to raise the foot at the appropriate time during each step cycle, creating a more natural and efficient walking pattern.

What is the Advantages?

Tilt Sensor Technology is adapted to changes in walking speed and terrain. This technology significantly simplify the fitting process and enhance clinical performance.

The fitting process takes only two minutes and the using process takes only one minute.

Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) delivers programmed low-level electrical stimulation to activate nerves and muscles which lift the foot. Using Biphasic Waveform, the stimulation causes less pain and has lower chance of skin burn.
